FULL DAY ART CAMP - Beach

Service Description

By parent request we are trialing a new program offering FULL DAY Art camp for the Summer holidays. You can drop your child at 9.45am pick up at 4pm. The workshops are based on one theme with multiple mini projects and progressive elements that will be exciting for the students. We will be making, drying, painting, assembling.......a chance to delve a bit deeper with the creative adventure. 10am - 11am - Art = Session 1 - Artists will design draw and paint a beach floatie Pastels and Watercolour paints. 11.00 - 11.15am = Morning tea - FREE SUMMER SQUASH 11.15 - 12.45pm = Art Session 2 - Flip Flop / Thong Canvas. Paint the background using real sand in the paint and blow and bubble techniques for the sea. Make a pair of card flip flops and these will be added to the background when dry 12.45pm - 1.30pm = LUNCH We will stop for a 45 min lunch break. The kids can eat in the shade then have a run and play in the top church garden. This will be fully supervised. 1.30pm - 3.45pm = Art Session 3 - Create a beach party 3 D artwork. Painting the Sand & Waves for the background Draw and painting the Umbrellas, Floaties, towels & More Assembling the Collage 3.45pm - Clear up ready for home time Early finishers will be offered free choice drawing PLEASE NOTE: Please wear old clothes whilst we do provide aprons the kids are likely to get messy!! Children should bring a hat and have sun cream applied before class. No thongs - closed shoes for safety. Please bring a snack (no nuts) and a drink for morning tea & extra food for Lunch Break
