FULL DAY ART CAMP - Camping

Service Description

By parent request we are trialing a new program offering FULL DAY Art camp for the Summer holidays. You can drop your child at 9.45am pick up at 4pm. The workshops are based on one theme with multiple mini projects and progressive elements that will be exciting for the students. We will be making, drying, painting, assembling.......a chance to delve a bit deeper with the creative adventure. 10am - 11am - Art = Session 1 - Artists will draw and paint a colorful campervan or caravan with with fun vintage vibes. Adding all the embellishments, trim and personal details will be so fun. 11.00 - 11.15am = Morning tea - FREE WE WILL MAKE AND HAVE SMORES on a stick 11.15 - 12.45pm = Art Session 2 - Artists will draw and paint a brown bear or red fox using an oil pastel and opaque watercolor paints. 12.45pm - 1.30pm = LUNCH We will stop for a 45 min lunch break. The kids can eat in the shade then have a run and play in the top church garden. This will be fully supervised. 1.30pm - 3.45pm = Art Session 3 - Camping Under the Stars Diorama We’ll make a printed fabric tent, tiny logs, a cozy fire, paper camping gear and more. Your artists will learn about creating tints and painting trees, printing fabric with homemade stamps and how to create small 3D objects that look like the real thing. 3.45pm - Clear up ready for home time Early finishers will be offered free choice drawing PLEASE NOTE: Please wear old clothes whilst we do provide aprons the kids are likely to get messy!! Children should bring a hat and have sun cream applied before class. No thongs - closed shoes for safety. Please bring a snack (no nuts) and a drink for morning tea & extra food for Lunch Break
