I know the Christmas decorations aren’t meant to come out until the pumpkins are packed away 🎃— but I wanted to share this early so you can lock it in your diaries!

✨ The Gap Creative Christmas Market ✨
📍 The Gap Village
📅 Saturday, 22nd November | ⏰ 8am – 1pm

Expect a gorgeous morning filled with local artisan arts, crafts, and festive cheer — the perfect way to kickstart the silly season!

Next year marks a huge milestone for me — 10 years of U Create Art in Brisbane and 20 years since I first started teaching art to kids! 💕

As a little thank-you for all the love and support you’ve shown over the years, I’ll be hosting a FREE sustainable art activity at the market — come along to paint, glitter, decorate, and create your very own Christmas bauble to hang proudly on your tree. 🌟

A huge shout-out to The Gap Baptist Church for kindly donating the baubles and helping us spread a little creative Christmas joy.

Can’t wait to see your smiling faces, glittery hands, and festive spirit as we celebrate this magical season together. 💚❤️

Tonight’s Sip & Paint was an absolute blast — paintbrushes flying, laughter echoing, and a complimentary Gin in a Tin in every hand!

We had people (and even a few cheeky pups!) diving head-first into our giant gin glasses — pure, bubbly fun from start to finish.

This is exactly how Fridays should feel… creative, a little messy, and full of joy! 💕

After visiting the Sir David Attenborough Exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London this August — and celebrating his incredible 99 years as the world’s most loved environmental biologist and broadcaster — it felt only right that Term 4 of Create Club should explore our “Wild Planet.” 🌍💚

Also inspired by the breathtaking ocean photography of my talented nephew @oceans.media, recently featured at the IUCN World Conservation Congress, our first session dived deep into the wonders of our oceans. 🌊

We colour-drenched our paper, let the paint swirl and flow using straws and our hands, then once dry, we added one of Sir David’s powerful quotes — written so the words rolled like the waves — before bringing our sea creatures to life with watercolour pencils. 🐠🎨

The results? Simply stunning. 💙✨
