U Create Art is one BIG CREATIVE FAMILY. In addition to the Bessell family below , U Create Art some amazing local students love creativity and art. They join me after school to earn a few pennies and support the primary school art program. We also work regularly with a number of local Brisbane artists who collaborate with the studio to offer adult art and specialist workshops.

Creative Director & Teacher

Karen has BA Hons in Contemporary Art, is a practicing artist and has been an art educator for 20 years. Karen has taught in schools, kindergartens and art centers in Brisbane, Sydney and the UK.

Book Keeping & Accounts

He's the Ying to my Yang and keeps everything in order. BA Honsin Accounting & Finance so the biz is in good hands as am I x Thx Hubby

Tech Support

Thomas Bessell is a Graduate at The Gap State High School and currently enjoying a Gap Year before heading to Uni. Tom is great with all the Technology his mum doesn't understand!. You Tube, Socials, Editing Videos and if he's not doing that he's cleaning the studio ready for all our guests.

Art Assistant

Daisy, a Year 12 student at The Gap State High, supports Arty Parties and the Holiday Club. Creative, energetic, and experienced in art and music, she brings great value to every class and event.

Art Assistant

Harry (Haz), a Year 10 student at Peregian Beach College, supports the Wednesday Drawing Club and Holiday Club. Passionate about football and art, he assists younger students, helps run activities, and is the extra pair of hands every class needs.
