Service Description

FULL DAY Summer Art camp. You can drop your child at 9.45am pick up at 4pm. The workshops are based on one theme with multiple mini projects and progressive elements that will be exciting for the students. We will be making, drying, painting, assembling.......a chance to delve a bit deeper with the creative adventure. Dive into the exciting world of animation with U Create's Stop - Motion Workshop. Kids will get hands-on with creating their own animated films – from developing a story and designing cool backgrounds to shooting frames with iPads and adding fun sound effects. It’s the perfect way to boost creativity, learn new skills, and have a blast bringing your imagination to life! We have new animation booths and filming props. This workshop has been extended from a 1/2 day to a full day to give the students chance to make longer movies, 2 scenes and time to add editing. U Create has 8 ipads that will be shared as students will work in pairs with another student Students are welcome to bring your own tablet or device - PLEASE DOWNLOAD - 'Stop motion animation' APP from the APP store before the session. This APP is FREE. 10am - 11am = Session 1 - Learn the basic movie making techniques - create a brief story board for your idea and then draw and design your backgrounds. 2 different scenes or locations - 11.00 - 11.15am = Morning tea 11.15 - 12.45pm = Art Session 2 - create and make your own characters - story line and props 12.45pm - 1.30pm = LUNCH We will stop for a 45 min lunch break. The kids can eat in the shade then have a run and play in the top church garden. This will be fully supervised. 1.30pm - 3.45pm = Art Session 2 - Then Film and Edit your sequence 3.45pm - Clear up ready for home time Early finishers will be offered free choice drawing PLEASE NOTE: Please wear old clothes whilst we do provide aprons the kids are likely to get messy!! Children should bring a hat and have sun cream applied before class. No thongs - closed shoes for safety. Please bring a snack (no nuts) and a drink for morning tea & extra food for Lunch Break

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation - Full refund will be given pro rata with 7 days notice 7 - 3 days - A Full credit will be issued with 12 months date of usage 2 days and less - NO REFUND OR credit but you may swap your place with a friend In the event of class cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances, safety lockdowns, school procedures, sickness of staff etc a CREDIT will be offered against your account or a FULL refund applied.
